Bernadette & Noir Farms first Alpacas October 2010

Bernadette & Noir Farms first Alpacas October 2010

Let me introduce you to "Bernadette" and "Noir De Noir". Bernadette is my intial Foundation Dam who was expected to deliver “our” first Cria in July 2011. Unfortunately she was carrying twins and aborted her babies in December. Twins are extremely rare for full-term deliveries in an Alpaca. She will be re-bred in May to Someday Farms "Earl Grey" Earl was sired by CPeruvian Silvio 106, a handsome and rare Canadian Peruvian import owned by Magical Farms,Inc. "Bernadette" is a 3 year-old Dark Brown breeding female and "Noir", my 2 year old handsome & lustrous True Black Junior Herdsire. What can I say, conformation, density and a true leader!

Since these initial purchases in October of 2010, I have purchased  two more Alpacas, "My Twinkle Toes" a light brown Peruvian and Chilean Dam from Equinox Farms. "Twink"  will have her third Cria in August of 2011 and my most recent purchase is "Starry Night's Rock Starr". He  has beautiful conformation and the disposition of a wise and gentle herdsire, he has great fiber and I have great plans for him in the future. He is 3/4 Bolivian and his sire was the Champion "Bolivian Vesuvius

The "herd" is finally home and I am open for business.

In the future look for my line of alpaca and other fine fiber knits, along with raw fiber and roving for the knitters, spinners and felters.
